To check if your device has the correct notification settings turned on, there is a number of steps you can do to fix this situation.

The following instructions are reproduced in a Sunmi tablet but the instructions can also be followed on any Android tablet.

For Lenovo/Sunmi

1- Check that you have your order notifications turned on:

  • Open the Kitch Connect app
  • Click on the option on the top left corner to open the sidebar
  • Scroll down until you see the Order notification switch and turn it on (it should have a green color)

2- Check that your device and media volume are on and set as loud as possible:

You can do this by pressing the top of the long button on the device's side or pressing the bottom part of the button to lower the volume.

To make sure that the media volume is also at max, you can do the following steps:

  • Go to “Settings” and scroll down until you find the “Sound” option and select it
  • Put the media volume at a max
  • Put the ring volume at a max

[You can see these steps in the explanation video #1 that is attached at the end of the page]

3- Clear Kitch Connect storage data:

  • Close the Kitch Connect app
  • Go to “Settings” and click on “Apps”
  • Go to the “Kitch Connect” app and select “Storage”
  • Select the option “Clean cache”
  • Open the app again and when you see the update app modal, click on reload

[You can see these steps in the explanation video #2 that is attached at the end of the page]

4- Check the version of your Android and make sure you have everything up-to-date.

Keep in mind that we only provide support and compatibility to versions until Android 5

  • Go to Settings and scroll down until you see the option “About phone” and select it
  • Scroll down until you find the Android version

[You can see these steps in the explanation video #3 that is attached at the end of the page]

5- Uninstall and reinstall the Kitch Connect app again.

6- If, after following these steps, the issue still persists, try resetting to factory settings

  • Go to “Settings” and scroll down until you find the option “System”
  • Inside the “System” option click on “Reset options”
  • Click on “Erase all data (factory reset)”
  • Once this is done you should install the Kitch Connect app again

However, if you are having trouble following these steps or none of this fixed the issue, feel free to reach out to our Support team.

For Glovo app

If the sound is ringing too low or it's not ringing at all if you are using the Glovo app after integrating with Kitch, what you need to do is to reach out to your AM and ask to turn off the auto-acceptance feature on Glovo.
